FLU UPDATE
We have heard so much about the flu vaccine with some conflicting reports here is a brief update as to what we may expect: If the current pandemic follows previous courses, a third wave of the H1N1 flu may occur within the next few months. We seem to be phasing out of the second wave of illnesses.

Vaccination is the way to prevent the flu (although not 100% effective)it continues to be highly recommended for all individuals. Children are more vulnerable to the flu and its complications and should be vaccinated. The H1N1 vaccine safety record so far has been equal or better than the regular flu vaccine, after all it produced by a similar method as the regular flu vaccine.
The other concern is that the regular seasonal flu will surface soon and both may be in a community at the same time.
